Very soon, one by one, the little fawns began to dart swiftly into the wooded area behind them. I wondered why they seemed so courageous at first and then bounded away so hastily. As we began to drive away, the answer was right before us. The mother doe was standing stoutly with her head held high as if to say, "Those are my babies and I will protect them." Apparently, she had given them a warning to run . . . that there may be impending danger. God is just that protective of his children! He is always near and constantly watching over us. Oh, what an awesome God we serve!!
Psalm 121:5
The Lord watches over you-- the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
Psalm 245:20
The Lord watches over all who love him . . .
Psalm 121:3
He will not let your foot slip--he who watches over you will not slumber;
